Monument Lake Campground, 3/24/18

This is the first National camp ground we selected.  We knew it had no amenities and are basically okay with that.  We arrived with a full fresh water tank and other tanks empty.  We have propane for the fridge, stove and furnace if the nights get chilly.  We knew we could draw electricity from the truck but since we are trying to get a lot of work done also, it is proving to be challenging to keep the computers charged.

It is beautiful here but Jo is kind of nervous (yeah… big surprise to those who know me…) because of the alligators and snakes that live in the area.

Beautiful scenes.

View from our door.

Gater!!

Swimming by, right in front of our camp site.

Dave playing with fire.

We spent most of the time working.  Now off to the Everglades.
