Anderson Road Recreation Area

National parks have such huge sites.  Even though we were only going to have two nights in Nashville, we decided to just hang out at the campground on the first night.

Second day was spent exploring Nashville and the music scene.  First we went to the Grand Old Opry.  We were not able to fit in a tour or concert on this trip.  I guess we will have to come back to Nashville some day!!!

Dave took me to the Opryland hotel to see the indoor canal and boat ride.  Later we headed down town.

Wild Horse Saloon is the jumping off point.  If a group or singer makes it here, word has it the next stop is the Ryman.  It was closing a half hour after we got there, for a private party, but we were able to go in to look around and have one beer.

Coyote Ugly Saloon — no mater what it looks like, I was not dancing on the bar!  However, Dave proved his manual dexterity during a little bra on and off contest.  We won!  A few people came up to him and commented later in the evening as we made our way through more bars, listening to music.  Every band we listened to was awesome.

The wildlife watched us leave.
