We are back in Sawmill Campground in North Mankato for 6 weeks.
Our autumn time in Minnesota was pretty low key. We caught up on some medical appointments and spent time with family and friends.
We started by having supper at Kyle and Brooke’s new apartment. Angie, Sierra and Parker all came out to the trailer a couple of times. Angie, Teresa and I had our annual wine tasting day with Dave driving. We had dinner with Scott and Linda. We spent a night at Teresa’s house. We spent time in St. Peter with friends and also with Mike and Rebecca in Mankato. We attended Lucas’ 5th birthday party, time with my brothers and listened to The Murphy Brothers where my nephew Fletch plays keyboard. We also got to meet Fletch and Lacey’s new son Kezzie, my great nephew. We spent time with Sierra touring her dorm room and the University of Minnesota. We attended a surprise retirement party for my brother Galen. We also worked to clean up the road grime inside and outside of the trailer.
Below are pictures of the Minnesota River valley in all of its glory, taken from highways 169, 14, Bluff Park and Spring Lake Park. Minnesota fall colors have not been this gorgeous in years.
Our last week included another lunch with Mike, supper with Angie and Parker, and early birthday celebration with Henry and my 50th class reunion from Mankato High, now Mankato West.
