Perry, FL 3/1/18

We took two days to drive from Hattiesburg to Perry, so we could enjoy the scenic coastal highway, stopping overnight at a WalMart in Navarre.  The van above was a pair of travelers from Massachusettes.  They are living out of the van and even had “hippie beads” hanging inside.  (Actually, Mardi Gras beads from New Orleans)  They had been on the road for about 6 weeks and loved our idea of full time RVing, but aren’t ready to give up the conveniences of home yet.  Some of our friends had been concerned about OUR close living quarters!

Our first beach stop.

View from a bridge.  I think we will be seeing many more!

The white sand piles up.

Lunch on another beach.

Camp set up at Rocky’s RV Park, in Perry, FL complete with cycle in silver portable cycle garage.  This area of Florida is called the Big Bend area.

First visitor to our campsite!  Too shy to sell us any insurance.

Enjoying a refreshment after a long day of…well…nothing!
