Rode the old Kawi through the famous Tail of the Dragon. Famous for it’s 318 curves in 11 miles. I behaved myself by only dragging my left foot peg on the pavement through 2 curves. The old man and his Kawi must have held their own because only 2 Cafe Racers caught up to us to pass. After a stop at a very small local bar, we continued on to ride the Cherohala Skyway. Great scenery and a very fun and challenging cycle ride. We then headed back through Waynesville via the Great Smokey Mountains Expressway. A total of about 250 miles.
Getting ready to tame the dragon. No one around here knows where or what “Deadwood” is!!!
Cameras along the way captured pictures of the riders. We were able to pull this one off of one of their sites without paying for it.
We pulled this off of the internet. Even though it is a autumn picture, it really shows the dragon.
One of our few souvenirs, this is mounted inside our outdoor kitchen at the trailer.
